      Comments

      Expression of mir-8Scer\UAS.cKa at 25[o]C in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA rescues the small body size phenotype seen in mir-8jk22 homozygous mutants. The abdominal pigmentation defect was not rescued; a significant decrease in A6 segment pigmentation is still seen.
