Expression of maf-SScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4sev.EP does not result in a mutant eye phenotype.

Expression of maf-SScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS has no effect on survival after exposure to a semilethal dose of paraquat in young adults (10 days after hatching). However, at 40 days of age these animals show increased survival under these conditions compared to controls.

Expression of maf-SScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS significantly delays the loss of motor function with age and compared to wild type.

Expression of maf-SScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4Dot.PK ameliorates age-associated decline in heart performance.

Expression of maf-SScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the simultaneous control of both Scer\GAL4tin.cBa and Scer\GAL4Scer\UAS.cHa ameliorates age-associated decline in heart performance.
