Homozygosity for rictor^Δ24 dramatically suppresses the enlarged eye (and enlarged ommatidium) phenotype caused by expression of Akt1^{Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1} under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU.

The reduction in eye size and ommatidial loss caused by expression of foxo^Scer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU is dramatically enhanced in a rictor^Δ24 background.

The wing phenotype caused by expression of S6k^Scer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 is not altered in a rictor^Δ24 background.
