Detailed Description

Scer\GAL4ap-md544-mediated expression of CtBPScer\UAS.cSa induces bald phenotype for all thoracic sensory bristles but the anterior notopleural bristle. In addition, reductions in the numbers of microchaetes and the occasional malformation of scutellar cuticle are observed.

Scer\GAL4sca-109-68-mediated expression of CtBPScer\UAS.cSa disrupts the anterior scutellar bristle, anterior dorsocentral bristle, anterior postalar bristle and posterior supraalar bristles and their sockets - a bald phenotype results.

Overexpression of CtBPScer\UAS.cSa using Scer\GAL4GMR.PU induces extra ommatidial eye bristles.

Overexpression of CtBPScer\UAS.cSa using Scer\GAL4C-765, Scer\GAL469B, Scer\GAL4en.PU or Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 induces ectopic veins in the wing.

Overexpression of CtBPScer\UAS.cSa using Scer\GAL4ap-md544 or Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 causes loss of macrochaetes and their sockets, and occasional malformation of cuticle in the dorsal thorax.
