      Expression of mirrVDRC.cUa in the neuroepithelium of mirr1825 heterozygotes (under the control of Scer\GAL4neur-GAL4-A101 results in class IV vdaB loss in 18% of cases in stage 16 embryos. No other neuron loss is seen. In third instar larvae this manipulation leads to a reduction in the frequency at which the larvae initiate a rolling response to 22%, compared to 42-46% in controls.
