The reduction in the number of type Ib boutons which is seen at the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) in Abp1KO/Df(3L)Exel6119 third instar larvae is rescued by expression of Abp1Scer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 (in motorneurons), but not under the control of Scer\GAL4C57 (in muscles). The reduction in the number of axonal branch points per NMJ which is seen in Abp1KO/Df(3L)Exel6119 third instar larvae is rescued by expression of Abp1Scer\UAS.cKa under the control of either Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 or Scer\GAL4C57.

The extra longitudinal ridge phenotype seen in macrochaetae of Abp1KO/Df(3L)Exel6119 flies is partially rescued by expression of Abp1Scer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4sca.PU.
