      An increased number of intestinal stem cells (ISCs) and enteroblasts are seen in the posterior midguts of adult flies expressing brmD718A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130. The number of mitotic cells is also increased.

      Expression of ykiScer\UAS.cZa enhances the increased intestinal stem cell proliferation seen when brmD718A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed in adult flies under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130.

      Expression of brmD718A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG completely rescues the reduced intestinal stem cell proliferation seen when hpoScer\UAS.WT.T:Zzzz\FLAG is expressed in adult flies under the control of Scer\GAL4esg-NP5130, resulting in a dramatic increase in intestinal stem cells and enterocytes as well as mitotic cells.

      Expression of brmD718A.Scer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG enhances the eye overgrowth seen when ykiScer\UAS.cZa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.
