Comment:

735 bp deletion resulting from the imprecise excision of the progenitor insertion. 8 bp are inserted at the site of the deletion. The deletion boundaries were taken from the reported genomic sequence.

Dh3151 mutants show a normal temperature preference during daytime, as compare to controls.

Dh3151 homozygous adults, reared under 12:12 light:dark zeitgeber cycle, present increased levels of sleep between zeitgeber times 21 and 24, but do not present significantly altered locomotor activity rhythms in either alternating light-dark cycles or constant dark conditions, as compared to controls.

Dh3151 homozygous adults, reared under 12:12 light:dark zeitgeber cycle, present a significantly lower night-onset preferred temperature decrease (between zeitgeber times 10-12 and 13-15), but a similar day-time preferred temperature increase (between zeitgeber times 1-3h and 10-12), as compared to controls.

Dh3151 mutants exhibit light-dependent temperature preference similar to that of wild-type.

Dh3151, Pdf01 double mutants show a relatively high and constant temperature preference (~26[o]C) during daytime in 12h:12h light:dark cycles, and show a relatively low and constant temperature (~24[o]C) under constant darkness conditions, as compared o controls.

Expression of either PdfScer\UAS.ML.T:SS-trypsin.T:Hsap\MYC.T:GPI-lynx1 or PdfScer\UAS.SCR.T:SS-trypsin.T:Hsap\MYC.T:GPI-lynx1, under either the combined control of Scer\GAL4Clk.int1-3 and Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS, or the control of either Scer\GAL4Pdf.PU, Scer\GAL4Clk.4.1M or Scer\GAL4Clk.4.5F, does not rescue the lower night-onset preferred temperature decrease observed in Dh3151 homozygous mutant adults.

Dh3151; Pdf01 double mutants exhibit light-dependent temperature preference similar to that of wild-type.

Expression of Dh31Scer\UAS.ML.T:SS-trypsin.T:Hsap\MYC.T:GPI-lynx1 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4Clk.int1-3 and Scer\GAL80Pdf.PS, but not when under the control of either Scer\GAL4Pdf.PU or Scer\GAL4Clk.4.5F, rescues the lower night-onset preferred temperature decrease observed in Dh3151 homozygous mutant adults.
