      Most of the apRXaDad52.4/+ flies display normal wings. However, approximately 2 % of them show the loss of distal wing tissue.

      apRXaDad52.4/apDG3 flies have tube-like wing stumps which lack wing margin completely except for the occasional occurrence of a few margin hairs at the very tip.
