Almost half of the ap^Dad52.4/+ wings show abnormalities manifesting in loss of distal wing tissue.

ap^Dad52.4/ap^DG3 flies have tube-like wing stumps which lack wing margin completely except for the occasional occurrence of a few margin hairs at the very tip.
