At 24 hr APF, reporter expression is high in all photoreceptor cells in the dorsal eye. Fewer and fewer cells express the reporter as you get closer to the equator. Ultimately, only R7 cells show reporter expression. In adults, reporter expression persists in outer photoreceptors and in R7 and R8. This correlates with the region containing cells that express both Rh3 and Rh4 in R7 cells and Rh6 in R8 cells.
