Thoracic indentations seen in Pink1^B9/y males are partially suppressed by expression of clu^{Scer\UAS.P\T.cSa} driven by Scer\GAL4^Mhc.PW. Expression of clu^{Scer\UAS.P\T.cSa} under the control of Scer\GAL4^da.PU rescues the extremely short lifespan of clu^d08713 homozygote adults: practically all flies survive past post-eclosion day 5 and display longevity comparable to wild-type.

Expression of clu^{Scer\UAS.P\T.cSa} driven by Scer\GAL4^da.PU rescues the mislocalization and clustering of mitochondria seen in germ cells in clu^d08713/clu^d08713 ovaries, as well as female sterility (egg-laying ability) and locomotor defects (climbing ability) in clu^d08713/clu^d08713 flies.
