      ShawnΔ6.3/ShawnΔ6.3 third instar larvae show evidence of disrupted mitochondrial function. Shawn1/ShawnΔ6.3 third instar larvae (recordings from the neuromuscular junction) show significant increases in EJC amplitude (at 0.4mM external Ca[2+] concentration) compared to controls.
