Ectopic expression of Abd-B^Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act.PU in somatic clones induces formation of Fas3-positive clusters of OPC (outer proliferation centre)-derived IPC (inner proliferation centre)-like cells and premature differentiation of migratory progenitors in the IPC into neuroblasts in third instar larval brain optic lobes.
