      ScerGAL4Desi.PK drives expression in the assembly zone apical to the labellar epidermis in the adult. In additon expression is seen in a capsular layer surrounding the neuronal cell bodies and dendrites in labellar taste bristes.

      ScerGAL4Desi.PK drives expression in the accessory cells of sensilla. Expression varies during development, it is present in the gustatory organ of L2 and L3 larval stages but starts to disappear during the wandering third instar larval stage, is absent during pupariation then reappears during the pharate adult stage.
