A subset of Nos^Δall/Nos^Δall or Nos^Δall/Nos^ΔN-ter mutants display pruning defects and/or precocious regrowth of axons in the mushroom body gamma-lobe, as compared to controls.

Nos^Δall/Nos^Δall mushroom body clones do not display any obvious phenotype in gamma lobe innervation, as compared to controls.

Expression of Nos^{IVS.Syn21.p10.10xScer\UAS} under the control of Scer\GAL4^GMR71G10 in Nos^Δall/Nos^Δall mushroom body clones leads to a dramatic delay in axon regrowth in the gamma lobe.
