Genomic fragment encompassing the Ank2 locus (derived from BAC clone BACR03I22) in which sequence corresponding to the C-terminal end of the the XL protein isoform (amino acid residues 10723-11628) has been deleted. Sequence encoding the L protein isoform is unaffected.
