αTub84B regulatory sequences drive expression of a Max cDNA. The Max sequence is located within an FRT cassette, which also contains a y+t* minigene marker. The GAL4 coding region is located downstream of the FRT cassette. Excision of the cassette using FLP results in expression of a GAL4 driver under the control of the αTub84B regulatory sequences.
ScerGAL4ScerFRT.αTub84B.PG drives expression ubiquitously after removal of FRT cassette.
