      Silencing (using Ctet\TeTxLCTNT.UAS) of neurons targeted by the split-GAL4 pair of Scer\GAL4DBD.VT010054 and Hsap\RELAAD.VT019911 in adult males significantly alters some parameters of pulse song and sine song, compared to controls; there is no significant effect on the number of males that sing, or take off and forced flight ability, but there is a significant reduction in copulation success, compared to controls.
