The endogenous JMJD7 open reading frame has been replaced by a loxP cassette which contains both Disc\RFP3xP3.PC and the kanamycin resistance gene.
The JMJD7 ORF was replaced with a knock-in cassette containing a Red Fluorescent Protein (RFP) transgene. Replaced region determined from reported primer sequences.
JMJD7KO mutants are viable and fertile and do not display any developmental timing defects.
