      Comments

      Adulthood-only, but not development-only, expression of DopEcRScer\UAS.cAa under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 restores a normal ethanol-induced disinhibition in DopEcRc02142 adults, as shown by their normal increasing frequency of inter-male courtship upon continual exposure (temporal regulation of expression is achieved by the use of Gal80[ts]). A similar rescue is achieved upon expression under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.Switch.PK and RU486 treatment during adulthood.
