      In larvae, ScerGAL4TyrR.PE is strongly expressed in the mushroom bodies and the thoracic and abdominal neuromeres. There are three pairs of somata in each thoracic neuromere that reside ventro-medially in the cortex beneath the centro-intermediate region, each of these sends a neuron towards the dorsolateral region. In the adult, expression is seen in the mushroom body, soma in the lateral horn, posterior superior medial protocerebrum and subesophageal ganglion, strong expression is seen in soma in the ventro-medial part of the antennal lobe that innervate the lobes and expression is seen in a small number of neurons in the thoracico-abdominal ganglion.
