      Expression of lintScer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4drm.7.1 results in liquid clearance defects but does not perturb terminal branches or lumen morphology of the terminal tracheal cells, with the exception of a few small tube dilations observed in some cells in heat-killed third instar larvae.

      The integrity defects of the seamless tube in terminal tracheal cell clones mutant for ich206 in third instar larvae is weakly suppressed by Scer\GAL4btl.PS-driven expression of lintScer\UAS.cRa - about 2% of clones are rescued and that only if the larvae are kept at 29[o]C to boost the transgene expression.
