Description

Part of the Dyb locus, including the translation start codon used by 5 out of the 7 isoforms and the region encoding the EF-hand and ZZ domains common to all isoforms, has been deleted and replaced by a w+mW.hs marker.

Comment:

Curator inferred boundaries of a deletion resulting from homologous recombination in which the Dyb ATG and part of the coding region is removed and replaced with a w+mW.hs marker.

Detailed Description
Statement

Dyb11 larvae exhibit a significant increase in the apparent patches within the SSR of Type Ib NMJ boutons, in the NMJ bouton number and in the number of nc82+ punctae per total synapses on body wall muscles 6 and 7 compared to controls.

Dyb11 heterozygous or homozygous third instar larval NMJs exhibit a significant increase in evoked junctional potential (EJC) amplitudes and mean quantal content compared to controls. Also Dyb11 third instar larval muscles 6 exhibit a significant increase in the cumulative EJC amplitude compared to controls.

Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Dyb11 heterozygosity or homozygosity enhances the posterior crossvein phenotype of cv-c1 or DysE6 heterozygous adults.

Cdc424 heterozygosity or expression of Cdc42KK108698 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU suppresses the quantal content and evoked junctional potential phenotypes of Dyb11 heterozygotes.

Expression of Cdc42KK108698 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PU leads to a significant increase in the frequency of miniature evoked junctional potentials in Dyb11 heterozygous third instar larval muscle 6 compared to controls.
