      Gorab2 homozygotes emerging at 25[o]C move slowly and are uncoordinated, and when raised at 29[o]C, they are unable to climb or fly.

      Embryos derived from mothers simultaneously homozygous for Gorab1 and expressing GorabWT.Ubq.N-GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 show a severe decrease in the number of mitotic cell cycles, associated with mitotic spindle defects (i.e. centrosome loss and multipolar spindles), as compared to controls.
