      Gfat2Δ1 MARCM clones of intestinal stem cells give rise to smaller daughter cells, exhibit a significant reduction in the number of cells per clone (under both calorie-restricted and normal feeding conditions) and differentiate into enteroendocrine cells but not into enterocytes different than controls while they are viable and divide asymmetrically similar to control adults.
