      mGluRPPGTRF homozygotes exhibit a significant reduction in sleep time, with significant reductions in sleep bout number and length but no difference in waking activity, as compared to controls; sleep deprivation experiments during ZT18-ZT24 show no significant differences in relative lost sleep during deprivation, nor in sleep latency and sleep recovery upon deprivation, as compared to controls.
