Description

Genomic fragment (from BACPAC plasmid CH321-74G8) that encompasses eIF2D. The coding sequence has been mutated to introduce a D109A amino acid replacement; this mutation is designed to specifically diminish tRNA binding without destabilizing the whole PUA fold.
