Description

775bp deletion ( 2R:16830745..16831521 , release 6 genome) that removes the mir-8 primary transcript (pri-mir-8). This deletion also removes the miPEP-8 short open reading frame that is present in the 5' leader of pri-mir-8. A sequence cassette comprising, 1. an attP site and 2. a loxP cassette containing a Disc\RFPDsRed.3xP3.cUa marker, has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence.
