Description

UASt sequences are fused upstream of a genomic fragment that encodes the first 545 amino acids of the Rel open reading frame (and one intron); the truncated protein produced by this transgene contains the transcriptionally active 68kD N-terminal fragment of Rel, but not the C-terminal autoinhibitory domain.
