AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.
Shares 5' UTR with downstream gene.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
"CG3364" shows particularly robust cycling of transcription in adult heads, as assessed by expression analysis using high density oligonucleotide arrays with probe generated during three 12-point time course experiments over the course of 6 days.
Annotation CG3364 split into CG30159 and Tsp42Ea in release 3 of the genome annotation. Release 3 annotation for Tsp42Ea contains sequences corresponding to release 2 annotations CG18742, CG18817 and part of CG3364.
Source for identity of: Miso1 CG30159
FBrf0264616 describes CG30159 as MISO ('mitochondrial inner membrane subdomain organizer'), but FBrf0262379 was published earlier and renamed another gene, CG44249, to miso ('minor splicing and oogenesis'); CG30159 has thus been renamed to Miso1 rather than Miso to avoid confusion.
The gene is named 'Miso1' based on the closest human ortholog.
