Subject: Re: list of potentially CGable genes
Gillian,
A few hits for you, though not many \- sorry!
a quick hour turned into half a day, I should know better by now! It took
so long as I confirmed the alignments by updating the entries which is what
took the time.
nc1:
CdsA = CG7962, 1 aa difference
Dup99B \- no match to Celera
Hsp70Aa \- only 2aa fragment, not enough for a unique match
Hsp70Ba \- only 12aa fragment, not enough for a unique match
Hsp70Bc \- only 11aa fragment, not enough for a unique match
Nems \- no match to Celera
nc2:
Pk1 \- no match to Celera
nc3:
BobA = CG13465, 100% identical protein
BobB = CG12487, 2aa difference
BobC =
BobA, B and C have identical protein translations
Celera only has 2 genes (I really cannot find a third) and I cannot map
which CG to which Bob
order of increasing cytology CG13465- CG12487-
BobA = CG12487 but not CG13465
BobB = CG13465 or CG12487
BobC = CG13465 but not CG12487
For the moment I have arbitrarily mapped BobA=CG12487, BobB=CG13465
 EG:BACH7M4.2 \- no match to Celera
Kisir \- CG9131, 100% identical protein
mei-217 \- no match to Celera
