P{CG10116(KDRT.stop)GAL4} was generated using the method described in Buddika et al. (2021; FBrf0247734) for constructing KDRT GAL4 transgenes including P{mira(KDRT.stop)GAL4}. The CG10116 regulatory sequences were amplified using the 3873/3874 primer pair described in Table S4.
P{CG10116(KDRT.stop)GAL4}attP40 is an insertion into the P{CaryP}attP40 site at 25C6, 2L:5108448 (R6).
P{CG10116(-KDRT)GAL4}attP40 is a derivative of P{CG10116(KDRT.stop)GAL4}attP40 obtained by KDR recombinase-mediated removal of the KDRT-stop cassette in vivo.
P{CG10116(-KDRT)GAL4}attP40 drives expression of a variety of UAS-GFP and UAS-RFP insertions including P{UAS-GFP.nls}8 and P{20XUAS-6XGFP}attP2 in all midgut cells.
Ellen Popodi at the BDSC has verified this expression pattern using P{10XUAS-IVS- mCD8::RFP }attP2.
P{CG10116(-KDRT)GAL4}attP40 also drives expression outside the intestine including in larval and adult salivary glands.
