ScerGAL4^210Y drives expression in neurons that project to the dorsal and ventral layers of the fan-shaped body, which the authors identify as layers 2 and 6-7, respectively.

ScerGAL4^210Y is expressed in layers 1 (weakly) and 5 of the fan-shaped body, in the subesophageal ganglion, mushroom body, median bundle, in the serpentine layer of the medulla, in the abdominal neuromeres and in single neurons of the thoracic neuromeres of the thoracico-abdominal ganglion.
