Reporter expression is restricted to salivary glands in second instar larvae.

br is a marker for the pupal commitment and specifies the larval-pupal metamorphosis. The br marker is expressed strongly in the whole organism in late third instar larvae and early pupae. There is also some non-specific expression in the salivary glands.
