Reference

ScerGAL4Tsp42Ef-GSG5255 drives mifepristone-inducible expression primarily neuronally. Strong expression is observed in the ventral nerve cord in 4-5 cells per hemisegment at dorsal midline (no A1-7 dorsal motor neurons), ~15+ cells per hemisegment in lateral clusters, and 15+ ventral cells per hemisegment. Strong sensory expression is observed in the antennal lobes, and weak expression in a few scattered cells in the brain, including ~3-5 cells with interhemisphere processes. Strong expression is observed in type Ib boutons of neuromuscular junctions of most but not all muscles; no expression in muscles 4, 6 or 7. Expression is also observed in muscle attachment cells.
