The repression domain of en (amino acids 284-338) is fused in frame to the ci coding region of ciZn.UAS.Tag:MYC which includes the ci initiator ATG and amino acids 440-684, (hence the zinc finger domain). Expression is governed by UASt regulatory sequences.
