Description

P{M2ET-QF} is an enhancer trap construct that encodes a QF driver. The construct contains elements in the following order: 5'P-element end - P\T promoter - loxM2 site - QF coding region - SV40 terminator - w+* selectable marker - loxP site - 3'P-element end. Sequence between the loxM2 and loxP sites can be exchanged using recombination mediated cassette exchange with an appropriate donor, meaning that the QF enhancer trap coding sequence can be swapped for a different coding region.
