ScerGAL4Gyc-89Db.3.4 is expressed in a subset of the gustatory receptor neurons that innervate the labellar sensilla in third instar larvae. In the adult, it is expressed in a subset of the gustatory neurons of the labellum. Some of these gustatory neurons co-express the bitter-sensitive neuron marker DiscRFPGr66a.PD.
