An elav promoter drives expression of a genomic fragment encoding ewg. In order to distinguish between different protein isoforms, a Tag:HA epitope has been inserted at the end of the open reading frame that terminates in intron 6, and a Tag:VSV-G epitope has been inserted at the end of exon J.
