[53D8-53D8];[53E1-53E1];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
53D8;53E1
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Lethal in combination with Df(2R)ED3181.
Inferred to overlap with: Df(2R)ED3181.
Dominantly modifies the size of pupae relative to wild-type controls.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC382 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-CCAATGCGTTTATTTCAGGTCACG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2R)BSC382 predicted from the Release 5 genomic coordinates of the P{XP}d01688 and PBac{RB}inaCe00783 transposable element insertions sites are 53D8;53E1.
