        A small proportion of Pol32L30/Pol32L27 third instar larvae show double strand breaks, both centric and non-centric, which are nearly absent in controls; these become much more frequent in a DNApol-δI10 heterozygous background and are both centric and non-centric.

        A very small proportion of Pol32L30/Pol32L27 adults show an etched abdomen phenotype; this phenotype becomes nearly fully penetrant in a DNApol-δI10/+ background.
