Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous Chig96.1 embryos laid by Chig96.1/+ mothers die before reaching the larval stage. Heterozygous Chig96.1 embryos laid by Chig96.1/+ mothers segment normally and survive to adulthood.

The projections of tup-expressing intersegmental nerve motor neurons show no clear alterations compared to wild type in homozygous embryos.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Chig96.1/+; apUGO35/+ and Chig96.1/+; apmd544/+ flies have no visible leg phenotypes.

Embryos laid by bcd8/bcd8; Chig96.1/+ mothers produce on average nearly one segment less than bcd8/bcd8 mothers.

Dominant enhancer of the ctL32; su(Hw)e2 wing phenotype.
