Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

shgR6 eyes show areas where many ommatidia have rotated less than 90oC.

The dorsal closure of shgR6 embryos appears normal.

Homozygous adults have a wing phenotype. shgk03401/shgR6 flies are semi-viable. Border follicle cell migration is substantially delayed in many cases in shgk03401/shgR6 follicles. Approximately 65% of the border cell clusters that have not reached the oocyte at stage 10 are located between nurse cells and only 35% of border cell clusters do not penetrate between nurse cells.

Weak allele. The oocyte is mislocalised in 29.5% of stage 7-9 shgk03401/shgR6 follicles.

Statement
Reference

A shgR6 heterozygous mutant background enhances the actin remodelling and subsequent basolateral invasion of epithelial cells seen in flies expressing CskGD9345 in a stripe of cells at the anterior/posterior boundary of the larval wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc-559.1.

Unlike either single mutant, shgR6; Src42A6-1 double mutant embryos show a dorsal open phenotype.
