Detailed Description

Expressing AblK417N.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU induces a very mild rough eye phenotype.

Third instar larvae expressing AblK417N.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155 (but not Scer\GAL4how-24B) display supernumerary mature and satellite NMJ boutons.

Ectopic expression of AblK417N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG does not cause any excessive presynaptic terminal growth and the number of connectives in class IV dendritic arborizing neurons in third instar larvae is the same as in wild-type controls.

Expression of AblK417N.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf, has no effect on LNv morphology.

When AblK417N.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL4elav.PLu, no significant defects are seen.

Flies expressing AblK417N.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev have no detectable eye phenotype.

ISNb bypass phenotypes are not produced when AblK417N.Scer\UAS is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu.

Genetic Interactions

The rough eye phenotype caused by expression of HemScer\UAS.T:Myr-Src64B under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is suppressed by co-expression of AblK417N.Scer\UAS.

Coexpression of AblK417N.Scer\UAS reduces the efficiency of eyaWT.Scer\UAS to rescue the 'eyeless' phenotype of eya2 from 100% to 40%.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Coexpression of AblK417N.Scer\UAS of with Hsap\APPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC in the sLNv (both driven by Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf) reduces the extent of sLNv axonal arborization compared to expression of only the Hsap\APPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC transgene.
