DdG0269 embryonic lethality is 42%, pupal lethality is 76%, and lethality of larvae is lower.

DdG0269 mutants show abnormal wing vein morphology at 99% penetrance. 38% of wings exhibit extra cross veins located in the region between L2 and L5 and a broadening of L2, L3 veins and the original anterior and posterior crossveins. This broadening of wing veins alone is observed in an additional 61% of wings.

Mutants have small wings.
