The expression of crbIntraY10A.E16A.ΔERLI.UAS.Tag:MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.long leads to an increase in the ratio of pale vs yellow photoreceptor cells R8.

When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PF in the eye, no significant phenotype results.

Over expression of crbIntraY10A.E16A.ΔERLI.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC when driven by Scer\GAL4da.G32 does not cause a multicellular epithelium in embryos.

Co-expression of crbIntraY10A.E16A.ΔERLI.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC rescues the adult eye neurodegeneration phenotype seen in animals expressing Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU. The increased cell death phenotype which is seen in the eye imaginal discs of animals expressing Hsap\APPAβ42.Scer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU is also significantly suppressed.
