Expression of nufEP3324 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca.PU in the adult thorax leads to an increase in the frequency of bristle twinning, as compared to controls.

Expression of nufEP3324 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 at 29oC leads to the production of external sensory organs with multiple sockets and no hair in ~9% of cases.

Expression of nufEP3324 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 results in additional scutellar macrochaetae. Sensory organs with one socket and two shafts are seen.

Sensory organ precursor cells expressing l(2)gl3A.Scer\UAS and nufEP3324 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 show an enhancement of the pIIb to pIIa transformation seen when only l(2)gl3A.Scer\UAS is expressed and an enhancement of the hair to socket transformation seen when only nufEP3324 is expressed.

Coexpression of Rab11QL.Scer\UAS and nufEP3324, under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-109-68, leads to an enhancement of the hair to socket transformations seen when either transgene is expressed alone.
