dorsal multidendritic neuron ddaE & dendrite (with Tm1el4)
The dendrites of dorsal cluster dendritic arborization (DA) neurons and ddaE neurons overextend in Tm1S130510 mutants. This phenotype also occurs in Tm1S130510/Tm1el4 transheterozygotes and Tm1S130510/Tm102299 transheterozygotes. The amount and length of lateral branches that extend from the dorsal dendrites is greater in Tm1S130510/Tm1el4 transheterozygotes than in wild-type embryos. Third larval instar dendritic arborization ddaC neurons which are mutant for Tm1S130510 (generated using the MARCM technique) show significantly larger dendritic fields than neighbouring wild-type neurons, showing that the neurons are cell-autonomous.
Early lethal.
Tm1el4/Tm1S130510 has abnormal neuroanatomy phenotype, enhanceable by stan[+]/stan51
Tm1el4/Tm1S130510 has dorsal multidendritic neuron ddaE & dendrite phenotype, enhanceable by stan[+]/stan51
Embryos that are Tm1S130510/Tm1el4 transheterozygotes in a stan51/+ background have an enhanced dendritic overextension phenotype in ddaE neurons.
Lack of zygotic Tm1 results in the specific head defect, lack of maternal Tm1 affects germ cell formation.
