psh1 larvae show increased susceptibility (i.e. mortality) to Candida glabrata fungal infection.

psh1 flies exhibit a moderate increase of susceptibility to Aspergillus fumigatus infection compared with wild-type.

psh1 flies are highly susceptible to fungal infection (B.bassiana), but show a wild-type pattern of survival after infection with Gram-positive bacteria (E.faecalis previously known as 'Streptococcus faecalis') and are resistant to Gram-negative bacterial infection.
